Bien Fifí (
Tango )
The members of "Bien Fifi" belong to a young generation of musicians that are linked to the Tango,
renovating it with their new vision and style. The duet begins in July of 2000 with a brief
performance in a Buenos Aires milonga ( "La milonga del Indio" ). Because of the acceptance of the
duet, they continue their presentations during the summer of the same year in several places of
the tourist circuit of the Neighborhood of San Telmo. In the course of the year 2001 they
continue their professional work with radial presentations and events in many places of
Buenos Aires city ( Argentina ). In December they are convocated to participate in the Week of the
Tango Festival in San Telmo ( Tango Telmo 2001 ), event that had the support of the Government of
the City of Buenos Aires where they offered their show in different scenarios (
Bar Sur,
Hábitat Cultural, Dorrego Square, etc. )
The duet remembers diverse periods of the repertoire of the Tango with incursions on the
"Guardia Vieja" and the classic period of the forties. In the moving interpretation of their
Tangos, Waltzes and Milongas "Bien Fifi" takes its place with its warm and unique
proposal.
